Our CEO and Founder, Manoj Pipersania , with over 22 years of industry experience, leads our dynamic team. During his time in the USA in 2007, Manoj was fascinated by the evolution of barcode technology, which streamlined operations in stores like Walmart and small convenience shops alike. At that time, barcodes were a novelty in India, motivating Manoj to implement related solutions back home.

Although SOFTSERV was founded in 2012, the concept of blackBAR was conceived in 2007. Since then, we have automated numerous businesses using barcode and QR code implementations. In some sectors, such as the power industry, we have even implemented RFID solutions. From providing conventional tags/labels and related consumables to hardware like printers and scanners, we have solved many business problems, automating manufacturing and production processes, including mobile apps and cloud applications.
